An airplane crashed into the
An airplane crashed into the Flightsafety International building in Wichita, Kansas this morning(Oct 30, 2014). The aircraft was taking off from the Wichita airport and reported engine trouble then crashed into the Flight Safety training facility, north building. The airplane was a King Air 200 with only the pilot on board. Three of the persons killed on the ground were trapped the Caravan simulator shown at the end of this video. At the first of each training event we review emergency procedures for emergency shutdown, fire and escape. But the horrific irony of this tragedy is that when your flying one of these sims you never imagine flying the simulator and then being hit by a real aircraft and being in a real crash.
