To dry roast & grind
1tbsp coriander seeds (മല്ലി )
1tbsp chana dal (കടല പരിപ്പ് )
2 red chilli


1/2 cup toor dal  / sambar parippu (തുവര പരിപ്പ് )
15 shallots halves
yellow cucumber ( വെള്ളരി ) cubed
1 carrot cubed
1 medium tomato chopped
curry leaves
coriander leaves
1 tbsp tamarind
small piece jaggery
1/2tsp turmeric powder
1tsp +  sambar powder
Water
Salt
1tbsp oil

For tempering
1tbsp ghee
1tsp mustard seeds (കടുക് )
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (ജീരകം )
1-2 red chilli
curry leaves
1/4tsp sambar powder
asafoetida powder
