The false teachers of Calvinism
The false teachers of Calvinism lore unsuspecting Christians into their unbiblical theology through various new media and old media targeted at Christians and those seeking truth from biblical answers. They expend much effort and energy seeking to intercept and indoctrinate such people with their extra-biblical theology of man trying to persuade and indoctrinate people into becoming new converts of Calvinism. Some of them do it willfully and deceptively knowing its wrong and unbiblical while many others sincerely believe what they teach and do not realize that they themselves are deceived by the dangerous doctrines of Calvinism/Reformed Theology that they are promoting. The end result of indoctrinating people into a false theology is the same damage in both cases either way, if it is taught by a deceiver or if taught by the deceived.
To clarify any misconception, I do not believe Pastor Everhard is wringing his hands and thinking he can't wait to deceive a bunch of people about the doctrines or traditions of Reformed Theology. Quite likely he sincerely believes that reformed theology is correct, just as much as a Mormon or Jehovah's Witness sincerely believe their false theologies are correct. They also try to persuade others to believe and follow their theologies with prooftexts from Scripture, and though many of them firmly believe the doctrines of their cult, they don't see it as a cult or in error and dangerous and so they go out expending effort and energy sharing persuasive written materials and resources that attempt to equate their theologies and doctrines with sound Biblical doctrines.
This video is about illustrating this bait and switch tactic, whether meant to be intentional about the bait and switch or not, by showcasing a devotional book being sold by Pastor Matthew Everhard of the PCA, Presbyterian Church of America. This will illustrate how some Calvinists who profess to proclaim the Bible is their sole authority first and foremost are actually engaged in affirming and personally identifying with their man-made confessional statements in actuality, confessions of faith that in many instances are directly opposed to sound Biblical doctrine.
