Editing Details:
I wanted to create The Matrix 5 dream trailer the is about bringing the iconic characters The Matrix 4 failed to do. Such as Agent Smith and Morpheus. The music I chose was from the new Planet of the Apes trailer music, because it captures the epic fantasy vibe I was looking for. I begin the trailer showing a fan film of a guy in a computer. Then he gets a message from a mysterious person telling him about the Matrix. I made this mystery person Neo. This opens up a new plot about Neo waking everyone up in the Matrix, so that they could know the truth.
“I repeat we are under attacked” I connected this line to a scene of Keanu in a fight scene. Thanks to The Man of Tai Chi it was possible to see fresh action scenes of Keanu Reeves. “He was the best soldier I’ve ever met” line from Agent Smith, I wanted to bring the idea that he remembers everything and specially Neo, how he was the only one that could beat him. Then for trailer post credit scene thanks to a,i I showed Morpheus saying to Neo “Neo its about time you know the truth” coming back to the theme of truth.
