Cutting the videos based on start and end time using FFmpeg.
FFmpeg comes with a lot of video processing features and cutting video as you need is one of them. In this quick tutorial, I showed how to cut or trim or extract a portion of video from another video from the command prompt for free without installing any software. I have used a sample Mkv video file and cut a small portion without re-encoding the video. I showed two approaches, one is with -to param and another is -to, and showed how to input time. the second approach is cutting and re-encoding, like changing the codec or container format, or as you like it.
