This video will show you how to create a new local user account on your Windows 10 computer. A local user account is different than a Microsoft account because, with a local account, you don't need a Microsoft email address. Follow these steps which will help you to create a new local user account.
1. On your desktop, click on the Start button
2. Click on the Settings gear icon.
3. In the Settings window, click on the Accounts category.
4. Select Family & other people from the left pane.
5. On the right side, click on the “add someone else to this PC” with a plus icon.
6. Wait a few seconds for the content to load.
7. In the Microsoft account pop-up window, click on the text link "I don't have this person's sign-in information”.
8. Now, Click on the "Add a user without a Microsoft account" link.
9. Type a username in the Name box of Who’s going to use this PC?
10. Enter a password of your choice and then Re-enter the same password.
11. Under the “In case you forget your password questions list. You can set some Security questions by selecting a question from these three dropdown lists and then you can write your answer.
12. Keep in mind that you must have to remember these answers and later, you may require these answers for a successful login.
13. Click on the “Next” button.
14. See our newly created local account has appeared under the Other users section.
15. You can also remove this local account at any time by clicking on the name and then click on the “Remove” button.
16. In the confirmation box, click on the “Delete account and data” button.
