MGFA Wellness Series 2021 #5: MG Spotlight on Positivity and Perseverance

Myasthenia Gravis is not an easy battle, it turned my world upside down at the young age of 14 but now at the age of 22 I have learned the power of positivity and perseverance despite my many challenges with this disease. What I have learned from living with MG is not every day may be a great day but that is okay, and I continue to find that balance of being positive while also letting myself feel the frustration, sadness and any negative emotion that comes my way when I need to. MG has prepared me for my next health battle, a rare cancer. I will share my story and hopefully hearing my journey will inspire you to find joy and purpose despite your diagnosis.
