Padma Shri Rahibai Popere, popularly known as ‘Beej Mata’, has been working towards the preservation and cultivation of natural seeds in her region for many years. She was often laughed at when she started, but now people travel from all across the world to learn about various natural seeds and their cultivation as well as preservation.

This short film is a tribute to an inspirational woman who has taught us to overcome numerous obstacles and social barriers to achieve a purpose that could potentially benefit millions. Being a socially responsible corporate, we strive to wholeheartedly support noble causes such as Rahibai’s efforts towards organic farming and spreading awareness for the same.

Astral Foundation has set up a water supply system that provides water to Rahibai’s farms even in summer days. This will enable the cultivation throughout the year, which will help and boost her efforts towards organic farming.
