I know, I know -
I know, I know - hearing about how mysterious ancient authors are can be tiring and Apollonius is no exception. But what we do know about this Alexandrian (his pitfalls, failures, and dedication to get his work right) makes up for it. From what little we know, his stubbornness to overcome adversity is an admirable lesson to us all.
**NOTE: I did not mention the prophecy given to Pelias warning him of Jason with the whole one-sandal-thing because that's how the Argonautica opens. The video was over 30 minutes with that inclusion, and so I decided to cut it in editing. However, if you watch Argonautica Book 1, you can hear me touch on it there. In addition to this, there is also another video discussing the origin story of the Golden Fleece in my "General Greek Mythology" playlist.**
