How to spot a British Army sniper before they see you

"The role of a sniper is to locate, observe and destroy key enemy personnel and equipment by the use of indirect or direct significant fire."

Six soldiers have been training to take on the role that everyone wants to shout about, but no-one can tell anyone about – the role of a sniper.

Instructors from 1 Royal Anglian oversaw a stalking exercise with the trainees where the potential snipers' mission was to see, but not be seen.
