Shure X2u Hiss Solution

If you've recently bought an X2u and are finding that recordings that you make with it have an unreasonable amount of background hiss, I might have the solution for you. Lower the input level in Windows, then drive the X2u hard to compensate. That will likely provide you the best signal to noise ratio that you're going to get.
My Signal Chain: Heil Pr40- Cloudlifter Cl-1- Shure X2u- Laptop.
Note: The Cloudlifter does provide an initial 20db of clean gain so when in the video I raise the input level slider the hiss isn't as bad as it would be if I were not using the Cloudlifter.
