Creed III - Can It Go The Distance Without Rocky?

So Creed 3 is out, with Michael B Jordan directing for the first time, and its also the first movie in the series without Rocky Balboa to protect it. Can it get out from under Rocky's shadow, or will the franchise fall in the 3rd round?
