Canon Selphy CP760 - How to install on Windows 8 64bit ( CP510 CP640 CP740 CP780 )

I found I can not use my Canon Selphy CP760 photo printer on my Windows 8 64bit. Canon Spain support webpage neither Canon Europe offer any compatible driver.
Canon USA support webpage has Windows 7 and Windows Vista drivers.
Only Windows Vista driver WILL WORK on Windows 8. Why is Canon not supporting Canon CP760 printer on Windows 8 when it's so easy to do it?

This also works with Canon printers  CP510 (look details) CP640 CP740 CP780 !!

Thanks for the tip on using a Vista x64 driver, it did the trick for my CP510 too. However the installation package (cp510x64mux.exe) would not proceed until it saw the printer as connected and plugging/unplugging didn't help.

So here's an additional tip :
- rename cp510x64mux.exe to cp510x64mux.zip (or the Vista x64 for your printer)
- extract the files
- right click on the CP510 "unknown device" in the printers section
- update the driver with the "have disk" option pointing to the x64 folder in what you extracted

Inexperienced computers users probably wouldn't go that far and I'm thinking that's one of the reasons Canon have not detailed that on their website, sadly...
