After S-400, India Inducts Russian Igla-S Defence System l US Urges India To Cut Reliance On Putin

The Indian Army has inducted a small number of Igla-S man-portable air defense (MANPADS) systems. The move is expected to bolster India’s defence capabilities amid ongoing tensions with China and Pakistan. In December 2021, Indian Army had procured the Russian systems through emergency financial powers.
