Explore some of the biggest questions about outer space in Arizona State University’s intro to astronomy class. From the stars in the night sky to our solar system and beyond, you’ll discover how our solar system came to be and learn about our place in the universe.
The AST 111 intro to astronomy course covers all aspects of our solar system including the constellations, moon and sun, describes Lecturer Karen Knierman in the School of Earth and Space Exploration. She says students in the course also explore beyond our home in outer space to learn about other neighboring solar systems. The course includes lectures, video tutorials and interactive labs.
