3 Castles of Gwent

3 castles in the eastern part of Gwent - Grosmont, Skenfrith and Whitecastle. Initially fortified by Edward I around 1200 AD, mainly to protect the English from the Welsh hordes!!, although proud Welshmen would argue that the opposite was the case! All 3 now managed by Cadw and are free to access.
