Here’s how the Delta 88 was definitely my father’s Oldsmobile

In this episode I provide the history of the Oldsmobile Delta 88, which was  Oldsmobile's most popular model back in the 60s and 70s.  The name Delta was added in 1965 and stayed part of the name up through 1989, after which it was marketed as the Oldsmobile Eighty Eight.  After switching to the smaller front-wheel-drive H body for 1986, the Delta 88 entered a generation I remember most as a kid, and I am sure my dad owned at least two of them.
