1969 Ankara doğumlu. Sırasıyla Çankaya İlkokulu, İstanbul Saint Joseph Fransız Erkek lisesi, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi İktisat bölümü, Marmara Üniversitesi Siyaset Bilimi yüksek lisans programı ve Sussex Üniversitesi Uluslararası İlişkiler doktora programını tamamlayarak ve 30 yıl boyunca eğitim sisteminin her aşamasından geçerek hâkim sorunların neredeyse hepsine maruz kaldı. Yetmiyormuş gibi Marmara ve Yıldız Teknik Üniversitelerinde akademisyenlik yaparak denklemin öteki tarafına dadehşetle şahit oldu. Bu düzenin eğitim anlayışıyla derdi var ve o yüzden Başka Bir Okul Mümkün diyor.
He was born in Ankara in 1969. Starting with Çankaya Primary School, he finished Saint Joseph, French High School for Boys, graduated from Department of Economics at Bogaziçi University, completed the graduate program in politicals science at Marmara University and received his PhD in international relations from Sussex University. For 30 years he passed through every stage of education system and was exposed to almost all the problems that dominate it. As if it wasn't enough, by working as an academic at Marmara and Yıldız Technical Universities, he witnessed with horror the other side of the equation, too. He has a problem with this system's education approach and that's why he says "Another School Is Possible".
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
