About the Wendover Air Show - Tooele County, UT

Wendover Air Base in Tooele County, Utah is one of the most historic spots in the west, especially for those with WW2 knowledge. The base still gives tours and make them as hands on as possible so they put on a Wendover air show every winter where kids get to get up close to the aircraft and meet the crew.  They can even sit in airplanes and have their questions answered.

The airshow is a celebration of aviation and military history  
with presentations that show off tools of the trade. Veterans give personal accounts of weapons they used and their memories of active duty. They also have pilots come in from around the country to participate in the aerial displays showing old school tricks to modern day F-16s.

There is also tanks and armored vehicles to look at.
