About six days after clinching her spot to Paris 2024 for her debut Olympics in the 100 meters, America’s sprint sensation Sha’Carri Richardson is back again on the track at the U.S. Olympic Trials to seek the 200-meter Olympic qualification. Richardson who finished third last season in the 200 meters at the Worlds in Budapest, is not leaving any stone unturned. In the prelims of the women's 200 meters, Sha’Carri Richardson once again left everyone in awe with her impressive performance.
In the heats, we saw Richardson dominate the 200 dash defeating her major rival world 200 meters silver medalist Gabby Thomas, with a phenomenal 21.99 seconds, to sail through to the semis. This was a signal that Richardson was in the best shape of her life.
