So let's say for any reason you feel like you need to delete any of your existing Facebook ad accounts, well, using the proper terms to describe this action, Facebook does not call it ad account deleting, rather it is called ad account deactivation.
So to do so, head over to business.facebook.com
Come down and locate the settings option
So here we are in the Business manager
You want to scroll down and locate Ad accounts
Here, you will see all the ad accounts that are associated with your business manager and then you can go ahead and select the one you want to delete or deactivate
Here, I only have one ad account in this business manager, it's a new business account. So let's say I want to deactivate this particular account, what I will do is to click on this ad account
Then I will come over to the 3 dots here and click it
From this displayed option, I will go ahead and select Deactivate Ad account
Here is just a display of the terms of the action that you are just about to take, so I will go ahead and click the blue deactivate ad account button if I want to go ahead.
But of course, I don't want to deactivate this ad account, so I won't click the button, you can click the button and then your ad account deactivation process will begin.
So this is how to deactivate your Facebook ad account from the business manager!
