Hi guys! I hope you enjoy this video on the dos and don’ts of using affirmations to help you achieve your goals. This video is based on my personal experience with affirmations and everything I’ve learned about affirmations SO FAR but I’ve still got a lot to learn about the law of attraction!



✨ U S E   A F F I R M A T I O N S   T O   A C H I E V E   Y O U R   G O A L S

1. DO be clear and specific with your affirmation and DO NOT be vague about what you want

2. DO focus on the outcome and DO NOT focus on a specific way of achieving that outcome

3. DO use powerful and certain language (I am, I will, I have) and DO NOT use the language of uncertainty (I hope, I wish or I want)

4. DO be careful with the words you use and DO NOT create an affirmation that could bring about an unwanted outcome

5. DO allow yourself to overachieve and DO NOT limit yourself with your affirmation

6. DO handwrite or visualise your affirmation and DO NOT just think about your affirmation

7. DO focus on your affirmation every single day and DO NOT focus on it only when things are going well

8. DO work your affirmation into your daily routine and DO NOT just rely on your memory to help you stay committed to your affirmation

9. DO be willing to feel silly and DO NOT get disheartened when your affirmation feels unbelievable

10. DO play around with your affirmations until you find what works and DO NOT be rigid and set in your ways - there are lots of different techniques you can try!

Most perfectionists don’t even realise they are one! And I’m a perfect example of that - I didn’t realise I was a perfectionist until I was in my mid-twenties…

Perfectionists procrastinate, people please, overthink and abandon their goals due to their all-or-nothing mindset. Perfectionists are smart, ambitious and have lots of potential but get in their own way because they’re scared of how they’ll feel if they don’t live up to their insanely high standards. Perfectionists also LOVE procrasti-learning (and procrasti-cleaning) so they can feel productive without having to feel vulnerable!
