This course will start with an introduction to using a variety of industrial machines that will be used throughout the duration of the course. You'll be taken through foot anatomy in relation to the size fitting system and be introduced to a choice of contemporary last and heel options to construct your boot. You'll have a choice between making a men's or women's Chelsea boot, or a women's high leg zipped boot.
Level:
Beginners. You should have an interest in the subject area and a desire to learn but no previous experience is required.
Cordwainers:
London College of Fashion joined forces with the world-renowned Cordwainers College in 2000, forming a union of unique specialist expertise in footwear and accessories. This collaboration has broadened LCF's portfolio of specialist courses and since its formation has trained some of London's most interesting shoe designers.
