Erin (Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, and My Best Friend’s Wedding) gets back to her office after a week on the field gathering data and notices that her stuff is not there anymore. She storms into Ed’s (Albert Finney from Tom Jones, Annie, and Murder on the Orient Express) office and confronts him about the situation. He explains to her that she cannot come and go to the office like this, and needs to respect the rules. She storms out and when she gets home, she sees George (Aaron Eckhart from The Dark Knight and Sully) fixing the kitchen. She tells him about the fact that she was fired and the fact that she is no one anymore.

Erin Brockovich (Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman, Notting Hill and My Best Friend’s Wedding) is a mother of three kids. She gets into a car accident, in which she is not in fault, but her lawyer Ed Masry (Albert Finney fom Tom Jones, Annie and Murder on the Orient Express) still loses the case because of her attitude in front of the court. She manages somehow to convince him to give her a job as a legal assistant in his law firm. Erin uncovers some medical records placed in real estate files. She starts to investigate with Ed’s approval, and she discovers that a huge firm is hiding the contamination of the water to the consumers. A local community, Hinkley, is particularly affected, the contaminated water is causing devastating illnesses among its residents.
