Rockhounding Oregon - Pyrite Crystals

Today we are going on an adventure to one of the easiest rockhounding spots for Pyrite Crystals up in the mountains just East of Sweet Home, Oregon.

This location is in the Oregon Gem Trails book but the gate is not always open. It took me 3 times in a year to finally make it out there.

If you go out there, make sure to pick up after yourself!
