Hands up who prefers to eat Cookie Dough before its been baked?? US TOO! The only problem is that Cookie Dough has raw eggs and flour in it and these guys are best avoided as they can carry harmful bacteria. But fear not! Sally is here to show you her recipe for completely safe to eat Edible Cookie Dough. PLUS she will show you how you can mix it up to create all different flavours of Cookie Dough including Salted Caramel Pretzel! YUM!

Basic Batter Recipe

For the full batch in the video:
480g Softened Unsalted Butter
280g Caster Sugar
180g Soft Light Brown Sugar
2 tsp Salt
8 tbsp Plain Yogurt
420g Plain Flour (spread on a baking tray and bake at 160C for 10 mins)

For a smaller quantity:
120g Softened Unsalted Butter
70g Caster Sugar
45g Soft Light Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Plain Yogurt
105g Plain Flour (spread on a baking tray and bake at 160C for 10 mins)

For regular Choc Chip Cookie Dough add a drop of vanilla extract to taste and a good handful of Chocolate Chips.

For Chocolate Cookie Dough add a tsp of Cocoa powder and some melted dark chocolate.

For Caramel Cookie Dough mix in some caramel and a little Salt.

The rest is up to you!
