Emails are inevitable in any industry. When you are working for a corporate and that too for IT, you know how important the emails are. Wouldn't it be great if we have the same email option for our Jenkins as well?
We may have the need to be notified on when a particular job is failed or something in order to perform the recovery operations sooner. Jenkins provides built-in support for emailing the build failures to the mentioned recipient list.
All we have to do is, provide the Email server details and our credentials if any to the default email plugin.
In this video, we are going to learn about how to send a mail when a build is failed in Jenkins.
