Snake Eggs are a polished Hematite magnet formed into a torpedo shape. This is a very popular toy. The poles of this magnet are on two of the the sides. Since the sides are smooth and rounded the movement of the Snake Eggs is unpredictable and fun.
They are called Snake Eggs from the sound they make when they come together. They rattle like a Rattle Snake.
