Adding a Cold Air Return in a Basement

Up to this point my
Up to this point my basement has had no cold air returns even though it has 4 heat registers. My intent is to get 2 cold air returns at floor level in my basement this is the first. Before adding cold air returns do your research so that you add them in the correct area for your home and to ensure that you don't create an area of negative pressure.
