The Angel Song - Shlomo Carlebach

This is a Jewish prayer song that calls on four angels for protection, Michael, Gavriel, Uriel, and Raphael. In Hebrew these names translate to: "Who is like you, God?", "God's Strength", "Light of God" and "It is God Who Heals". Shechinat el refers to the feminine aspect of God.

This prayer echoes other spiritual traditions that call to the four directions in rituals for casting a circle of protection.
