Begin this stretch by grasping a surface with the palm facing up. Fully extend the arm overhead and bend forward at the hips. Attempt to lengthen your arm completely, pushing yourself away from the bar to get a full stretch of the musculature. Once this is accomplished you can then tilt the pelvis slightly away from the side being stretched to further intensify the stretch.
