Do You Have Bleeding Gums? Here is what you need to do!

Do you have bleeding gums? The chances are it is a reversible process that you can change. Most likely your bleeding gums are caused by bacteria that is sitting under and around your gums. It causes inflammation of the gums, thus bleeding, called gingivitis. But the good news is that gingivitis is a reversible condition if you treat it. However if it is left untreated for many years, you can get periodontitis (an nonreversible condition with loss of bone and tissue around your teeth). So what you need to do is to brush around the gum-lines properly (using a soft bristles tooth brush, placing the brush at 45 degree angle on the gum-line). You also need to floss daily and take your floss all the way under the gums as far as it goes. You need to also see your hygienist and dentists for routine cleaning and check up to make sure there is no other underlying conditions. And also to have the hardened calculus build up removed professionally. One you do that, and with your daily CORRECT FLOSSING and BRUSHING maintenance, you will no longer have bleeding gums.
