🌟 Key Features 🌟
➡️ India’s first Regional Rail, RAPIDX, is a unique transit system designed for regional commutes, with its initial 82 km corridor under construction between Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut. The priority section, spanning 17 km from Sahibabad to Duhai Depot, will begin passenger operations from 21.10.2023. This section includes five stations: Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot.
➡️ RAPIDX trains are fully air-conditioned and offer passenger-centric amenities, such as ergonomic 2x2 seating, spacious standing areas, luggage racks, CCTV cameras, laptop/mobile charging, dynamic route maps, ambient lighting control, and HVAC.
➡️ These trains will operate from 06:00 am to 11:00 pm, with trains departing every 15 minutes, and each train can accommodate around 1700 passengers, with dedicated coaches for women, specially-abled, and senior citizens.
➡️ The Premium Coach in each RAPIDX train offers added features like reclining seats, coat hooks, magazine holders, and footrests, with access through a Premium Lounge at the platform level. A Train Attendant stationed in the Premium coach ensures passenger assistance and safety.
