Recipe
~Day 1~
1. Please use chemical free oranges. Wash the orange thoroughly and use a knife to scrape off any dirt.
2. Use something like a bamboo skewer to poke several holes in the orange peel to remove some of the. bitterness.
3. Soak in plenty of water for one hour.
4. Put the water and oranges on the stove and bring them to a boil. Boil for five minutes..
5. Remove the oranges and discard the water. Fill the pot back with water and add the oranges. Boil again for 15 minutes.
6. Keep the oranges soaked in water for two days, changing the water three times a day.

~Day 3~
7. Cut the oranges in horizontal slices. Hold them gently or you will ruin the shape of the slices. Use a sharp knife to help. (Take any pieces that didn't come out well and just use the peels to make peel orangettes)→
8. Remove seeds. Seeds can also be removed later on, so you do not have to be thorough here.
9. Weigh the oranges.
10. Prepare an amount of granulated sugar that is 90% of the total weight of the oranges.
11. Place the orange slices in a pan that works well with high acidity.
12. Add the granulated sugar and put it on low heat as not to burn it.
13. Once it has started to boil, stew the oranges for ten minutes. Skim away any foam.
14. Turn off the heat and wait two days.

~Day 5~
15. Boil on low heat for 30 minutes.
16. Turn off the heat and then wait one whole day.

~Day 6~
17. Remove the orange slices and store them in something like Tupperware
18. Bring the syrup to a boil. Don't boil for too long. If the syrup is too thick, it will make the drying process too difficult.
19. Pour the syrup over the oranges in the Tupperware and wait one day.

~Day 7~
20. Arrange the orange slices on a pan and have them dry in an oven preheated to 150 degrees Celsius for 13 minutes.
21. Let it dry overnight.

~Day 8~
22. Remove any remaining seeds.
23. Cover in your favorite chocolate. Then chill in the refrigerator.

That's it! You're done!
