Today, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments regarding the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to remove former President Donald Trump from the primary ballot.
Opponents of Trump argue that he should be disqualified under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits individuals who have engaged in insurrection or rebellion from holding office.
The arguments commenced at 10 a.m. ET, with live audio available but no video feed from inside the courtroom.
Notably, Trump did not attend the proceedings.
Jonathan Mitchell, former Texas solicitor general, will represent Trump, while attorney Jason Murray will advocate for Colorado voters. Shannon Stevenson, Colorado's solicitor general, will present arguments on behalf of the state's attorney general.
