Muharram - The first month of the Islamic calendar.

Safar - The second month, and considered a time for travel and migration.

Rabi' al-awwal - The third month, celebrated as the birth month of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW).

Rabi' us- Saani - The fourth month, considered a time of reflection and worship.

Jumada al-awwal - The fifth month, associated with dry and arid conditions.

Jumada us - Saani The sixth month, associated with agriculture and planting crops.

Rajab - The seventh month, considered a time of spiritual renewal and introspection.

Sha'aban - The eighth month, associated with preparing for the month of Ramadan.
