Balinese dancers 1924, P. Toussieng

The performance of various Balinese dancers and musicians were filmed by Danish doctor Paul Toussieng who served the Dutch colonial administration of Java, Bali and Borneo in 1921 to 1937.
The recordings are from a film in the 16 mm film archives of the Ethnographic Collections of the National Museum of Denmark which were in 2011 transferred to digital media. Counting around 300 titles the archives include films from all regions of the world.
