Many attribute Tupac’s death in 1996 to his involvement with Suge Knight. Fans can’t help but think had he not been bailed out by Suge and signed to death row records he may still be here today.
Tupac was a huge loss to the industry. His absence is still felt even after twenty four years, by fans both old and new.
But perhaps too much has unfairly been attributed to Suge. After all, Tupac was no angel before Suge. Maybe we have forgotten that over the years. It’s natural to immortalize those who have passed and have an idealistic image of them in our minds.
