DRAMA FOR KIDS
(National doctors day 1st July)
Dr. ovi: (looking up and smiling) Well, hello there, Teddy! How are you feeling today?
Teddy: (voiced by the student, using a different tone) Hi, Dr. ovi. My tummy hurts a lot!
Dr. ovi: Oh no, Teddy! Let’s see what’s going on. Can you tell me if you ate something unusual?
Teddy: I had a lot of honey for breakfast... maybe too much.
Dr. ovi: (laughs) That might be it! Let’s check you out to be sure.
Dr. ovi picks up a toy stethoscope and gently presses it to Teddy’s chest.
Dr. ovi: Take a deep breath, Teddy. In and out.
Teddy: (taking a pretend deep breath) In... and out...
Dr. ovi: Good job! Your heartbeat sounds strong. Now, let’s check your temperature.
Dr. ovi
picks up a toy thermometer and pretends to take Teddy’s temperature.
Dr. ovi: Hold still for a moment... perfect, normal temperature.
Teddy: That’s good, right?
Dr. ovi: Very good! Now, let’s feel your tummy.
Dr. ovi gently presses Teddy’s tummy, checking for any issues.
Teddy: (giggles) That tickles, Dr. ovi!
Dr. ovi: (smiling) Everything seems fine here. I think you just had a little too much honey. You’ll feel better with some rest and maybe a little less honey next time.
Teddy: Thank you, Dr. Care. You always make me feel better.
Dr. ovi: That’s what I’m here for, Teddy. And today is extra special because it’s National Doctor's Day!
Teddy: Happy National Doctor's Day, Dr. ovi! You’re the best!
Dr. ovi: (touched) Thank you, Teddy. And thank you for being such a brave patient. Take care and feel better soon!
Teddy: I will! Bye, Dr. ovi!
Dr. ovi: Goodbye, Teddy! See you next time!
Dr. ovi waves to Teddy as the unseen hand takes him away.
