IMCO lighters better than Zippos?

Are IMCO lighters really better than Zippo lighters?
Everyone knows about Zippo lighters, but how many people know about IMCO lighters?
Sadly IMCO went out of business but many of the reliable lighters they made are still floating around online.
The IMCO Triplex series which featured the 6600, 6700 and 6800 are probably some of the best liquid fuel lighters ever made, they have simple and robust designs, and manage to retain their fuel for relatively long periods.
