Lioness Catches Two Baby Impala, Gets Kicked in the Face

It's impala lambing season and many predators are taking advantage of the abundant food source. In their first few days after being born the lambs rely on hiding as they are not fast enough to evade most predators. This lioness from the H12 pride in the Kruger National Park couldn't believe her luck as she stumbled across 2 lambs that didn't hide themselves well enough and became easy prey. The second lamb put up a brave fight and even managed a few well placed kicks into the lionesses face (go to the 01:30 time in the video for the well placed kicks from the lamb 😂) We believe this lioness is currently denning as she seems to be lactating and has been on her own in the same area for the past month
