ASEAN Economic Activity – An economic integration that benefits all? | FES Asia

The ASEAN Economic Integration is an economic integration whose goals are free movement of goods, services, investment, and skilled workers, and freer movement of capital. FES works with ASETUC to discuss the implications of the AEC for workers in the region and how it advocates for preventive solutions that ensure just practices in the workplace. Social dialogues that allow trade unions to participate in the ASEAN decision making processes is crucial, not only to ensure workers interests are taken into consideration but also in achieving a truly peopled-oriented ASEAN Community that benefits all people in ASEAN countries.
