0:19 Solution1: Via Installation Media
In this solution, we will use an installation media to clean-install Windows 10, so first, we are going to make an installation USB, if you already have one or you have the installation CD then just ignore this step. Please note that the USB drive we prepared has to be at least 8GB, if you don’t have the USB then you can turn to solution 2.
1. Go to the official page - Download Windows 10 to create Windows 10 installation media.
2. Follow the wizard to complete the task.
3. Choose your USB here. If you have no idea which is your USB then you can go to This PC to check it.
4. After the media is created, shut down the PC and make sure your SSD is installed.
5. Plug the prepared USB into the PC. While booting the computer, keep pressing the BIOS key, the key is usually F2/Del/F10/F12, it’s depending on the manufacturer if you are not sure please google it in advance. And after that, the BIOS screen will be displayed.
6. Different computers have different BIOS interfaces, but they are very similar. You just need to find the boot option and set the USB as the first boot device.
7. Save the settings and quit BIOS. Then, your PC will boot from the installation USB.
8. When the computer boot again, you will enter Windows Setup. Set up some settings and click on “Next” to proceed.
9. Click on “Install Now”.
10. Here enter your product key. If you don’t have one, just click on “I don’t have a product key” and you can still finish the installation.
11. Select your desired Windows 10 edition from the list.
12. Tick “I accept the license terms” and hit “Next”.
13. Select the custom installation.
14. Select the SSD drive where you want to install the OS and hit “Next”.
15. Now, Windows 10 is being installed. Just wait for the installation to be completed. When it’s finished, your PC will be rebooted again.
16. When it restarts, immediately press the BIOS key again to enter the BIOS. Then, select your SSD drive as the first boot drive. When it reboots you will have to complete several settings then the installation process is successfully done.

4:03 Solution2: Via AOMEI Partition Assistant
Usually, your HDD may be MBR partition style and your SSD may be GPT, so after the migration, you must get into BIOS and change the boot mode from Legacy to UEFI to boot normally.
1. Connect both your SSD and HDD to your PC, and launch AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional; click “Migrate OS to SSD”.
2. Select your target SSD. Then, hit “Next”.
3. Here, you’re able to customize the size of the partition on the destination disk.
4. After returning to the main interface, click on “Apply” on the upper left and hit “Proceed” to start the migration.
