Sometimes you need to change
Sometimes you need to change your return after you have filed it. You might have made a mistake on the original return or you might want to claim a tax benefit you didn't know about when the return was originally filed.
For that, you file a Form 1040X Amended Tax Return. This video is a step-by-step guide to preparing the submitting an amended return.
