BIZ MARKIE'S FINAL INTERVIEW : The Diabolical Hip-Hop Legend, Biz Markie (@officialbizmarkie), formed an incredibly special and unique relationship with our Museum's Founder DJ BOOM (@djboom_lv). They shared a love of collecting and all things Hip-Hop. This tribute video includes raw footage of Biz's last known interview, recorded October 2019 at Listen Vision Studios in Washington DC.
Biz lived in the "DMV" and was DC's brightest shining Hip-Hop Star, DJ'ing locally and nationally for the last couple decades. As you’ll hear in the interview, his collection was so vast that he even bought the house next to his just for his collection!
Biz's relationship with DJ BOOM represents the same loving and generous relationship he had with so many. In fact, amongst his many talents – beatboxing, rapping, producing, dj'ing, acting, collecting… LOVING may have been his biggest. ❤
