I love using my instant
I love using my instant pot for meals that would otherwise make a mess! I used the IP to make marinara meatballs for meatball sandwiches! It is sooo easy and makes clean up a breeze. No simmering splattered sauce all over the stove! Essentially we’re just warming up the meatball last and heating up the sauce so if your IP doesn’t come to pressure don’t sweat it! They still get nice and hot.
Instant Pot Meatball Sub Recipe
1. Place single layer of frozen meatballs of choice in IP.
2. Pour jar of marinara sauce (or your choice of pasta sauce) on top of meatballs.
3. Add 1/4 of water if desired. (Thicker sauces may not come to pressure and burn a bit at the bottom) This happened to me and it didn’t effect the final product.
4. 10 minutes, high pressure, quick release
5. Place meatballs on bun of choice with cheese!
