2018 Sonoff 3-way Switch Scenario

This is a scenario using the Sonoff Basic as a switch in a 3-way/multi-way situation.  The specific situation described in this video is one where the power/line comes into the same box as the wire for the load/light.

Please note that the intent of this scenario is to utilize Tasmota software on the Sonoff; not, the stock firmware.

This video isn't intended to be a primer for Sonoff and/or Tasmota; nor, does it provide the basics of using a Sonoff as switch.  For that information, check out the excellent series by DrZZs.

Also, I didn't mention this in the video, but if you happen to have an extremely long or "electrically noisy" run between the switches, you might need to add a 5K pull-up resistor between GPIO14 and GND as discussed in the Tasmota wiki page here: https://github.com/arendst/Sonoff-Tas...

Disclaimer:  I am NOT an electrician... 120VAC can be dangerous!  Turn your breaker(s) off and check to be sure the box doesn't have power before fiddling.  If you're not experienced with working with home wiring, you should skip this one as a mistake can result in your home burning down and people DYING.. really.
