If you're getting stuck in the jeans rut this winter and want a warm, on trend alternative, a pair of wide leg trousers in one of our gorgeous new fabrics could be just the ticket. In this video I share some of my favourite wide leg trouser patterns including some with a nifty waist design that looks smart from the front, but are also nice and comfy thanks to an elasticated waist at the back. As always I've linked everything below for you.

The fabrics are ex designer deadstocks, mostly from Italy and include some 100% wools at a bargain price.

Time to ditch those jeans and sew some wide leg wardrobe staple trousers to go with your favourite knits and blouses this winter. The patterns would also work equally as well in summer fabrics so you can create looks for all year round with just one pattern.
