In the first episode of Narcos season 1, we are given a brief history lesson on Pablo Escobar by DEA agent, Murphy. Coke chemist, Cockroach goes to Pablo Escobar with a plan to smuggle Coke across the border. Murphy decided to go down to Columbia to help with the war on drugs.
