In case of noisy point
In case of noisy point clouds, the usual Cyclone 3DR approach is to work in two steps to get the best result:
- First step, create an intermediary mesh in order to have quickly a "simplified" mesh, easy to edit if necessary and that will be used as a base for the subsequent step
- Second step, refine this rough mesh with the point cloud by adding triangles where the details are.
